《METUB WebTVAsia颁奖典礼》12月5日于胡志明市GEM Center热烈引爆！主办方独家邀请来自9个亚洲地区、600名著名网络创作者以及精英前来共襄盛举，堪称全亚洲网络精英与网络创作者最强交聚点！值得一提的是，该活动各别在WebTVAsia以及METUB Network的官方Youtube频道与官方脸书专页上进行直播，并且达到超过1.26亿观众流量，数字相当惊人！
越南网络创作者发光发热！
《METUB WebTVAsia颁奖典礼》今年主题为“欢庆亚洲：飞耀越南（Celebrate Asia: Rise of Vietnam）”，颁奖典礼特别为东道国的网络创作者加设奖项类别使其成为中心舞台。越南新星Chi Pu当晚就带来了她的热门歌曲《Đoá Hoa Hồng（Queen）》和《Anh Ơi Ở Lại》的特别舞台并引起全场瞩目。而《Anh Ơi Ở Lại》融合古风与童话故事的MV为她拿下《年度最佳概念MV奖》（METUB WebTVAsia Best Concept Music Video of the Year），该视频目前已超过7700万浏览量。
Chi Pu感触道：“我以偶像的身份开始，从未想像过自己有一天可以会登上如此大的舞台。 我还很记得在巴厘岛举办的《亚洲热播盛典Viral Fest Asia》，那次我在大约8000人面前表演。 从那时起，我作为歌手的事业开始蓬勃发展。 获得这个奖项，相信今晚将会是我人生中另一个值得纪念的夜晚。”
活跃于台湾的加拿大主持人夏克立（Chris Downs）亦有受邀出席这次颁奖典礼，他曾在中国颇受欢迎亲子综艺节目《爸爸去哪儿3》出演过并大受欢迎。夏克立当晚与知名越南小姐阮陈玄眉（Huyền My）一同出场，并颁发《年度最具影响力美妆红人》（METUB WebTVAsia Beauty Icon of the Year）给越南网络红人An Phương，并向电影演员Chau Bui颁发《年度最具影响力时尚红人》（METUB WebTVAsia Fashion Icon of the Year）。他亦向网络创作者Gia Đình Cam Cam 颁发《年度最佳影响力亲子自媒体》（METUB WebTVAsia Family & Kids Channel of the Year）奖。
越南超人气歌手Min也出席担任颁奖嘉宾并颁发了以下奖项，包括：颁发给网络创作者Fabo Nguyen的《年度生活与健身自媒体》（METUB WebTVAsia Lifestyle & Fitness Icon of the Year）奖项；Ba Rọi Béo则拿下《年度最佳实况主》（METUB WebTVAsia Streamer Icon of the Year），其频道观看次数达到百万浏览量。 《年度最具影响力美食自媒体》（METUB WebTVAsia Foodie Icon of the Year）由Woossi拿下，Woossi的TV频道在短短3年内就获得了150万订阅，作为美食类网络创作者来说，成绩相当优秀呢。
《YouTube杰出明日之星》（METUB WebTVAsia Outstanding Celebrity Star on YouTube）颁给了Tran Thanh，Tran Thanh凭借自己的视频作品《Ninh Dương Lan Ngọc ăn nhiều quá bung luôn nút quần khi quay CUA LẠI VỢ BẦU phim tết 2019 cùng A Xìn》，在今年开启最强劲的脚步，获得了超过700万的观看次数。而《年度最受欢迎创作红人》（METUB WebTVAsia Most Popular Creator of The Year）则是由Hậu Hoàng拿下。
METUB Network集团总裁Phượng Hà表示，对于越南网络媒体这般风光感到相当自豪。在建立了1500个国家/地区的在线渠道后，她看到大量的优秀网络创作者涌出，为网络媒体这个行业带来新光景：“我自己是越南人，很高兴看到这行业在这里蒸蒸日上，网络媒体为越南人才在追求梦想的路上提供了机会。 我们不断鼓励在地人才表现出自己艺术才能。 有了正向的支持，一切皆有可能。 ”
国际奖项：歌手强势狙击胜利！
国际奖项部分的获奖者包括了韩流最强团体防弹少年团（BTS）成员J-Hope，他的MV作品《Chicken Noodle Soup (feat. Becky G)》在短短两个多月内累积了高达1.13亿次观看，拿下《WebTVAsia 年度最强传播视频》（WebTVAsia Viral Video of the Year）实至名归。而《 WebTVAsia年度最佳频道》（WebTVAsia Channel of the Year）则由美食创作者李子柒拿下，其美味实在的美食内容吸引了729万订阅和9.44亿次观看。
当晚的演出亮点还包括，来自韩国的偶像歌手永才（YOUNG JAE）以及马来西亚电音公主Priscilla Abby蔡恩雨的二重唱演出，这次的两国歌手合作也迎合了WebTVAsia欢庆亚洲的主题：「艺人们的跨区域合作会产生不一样的演出魔力」。另外网络著名舞蹈创作者兄妹Ranz和Niana这次还带着他们的妹妹Natalia一起表演舞蹈，三兄妹的可爱又帅气的演出吸引了观众的心。
2020：另一个亚洲城市
之前的颁奖典礼分别在马来西亚吉隆坡和韩国首尔举行，今年则是特别转到胡志明市。 WebTVAsia集团总裁张捷惟在致辞中表示，网络媒体业继续呈指数级增长，并表达了他对各大亚洲品牌和网络创作者的支持与承诺。他期待接下来在另一个亚洲城市举办颁奖典礼：「WebTVAsia如今拥有2500个频道，5亿用户和每月50亿次观看。我们还开发了一位钻石播放键YouTube创作者（1000万订户）， 105位金色播放键YouTube创作者（100万订户）和677位银色播放键YouTube创作者（10万订户）。亚洲网络媒体生态系统正在蓬勃发展，有许多未发现的人才值得将其职业提升到新的水平。我们期待在下一个亚洲城市举办颁奖典礼。 」
